What is Listeo PWA?
It's a WordPress plugin that makes your Listeo website installable on a phone. Visitors open it from a home screen icon, in its own app window. PWA stands for Progressive Web App: a website with app-like features.
How do visitors install the app?
They visit your website and use the install prompt or their browser's Add to Home Screen option. The steps depend on their phone and browser. There is no App Store or Google Play listing to publish or download from.
Do I need to manage a separate app?
No. The app uses your website's listings, bookings and user accounts. You keep managing everything in WordPress, and visitors use their existing login. There is no second set of content to maintain.
What works without an internet connection?
Users can reopen saved booking details and supported QR tickets they previously viewed online. Making new bookings, paying and seeing the latest changes still require a connection. The entire website is not available offline.
How do push notifications work?
Listeo PWA works with Web Push configured in Listeo Notifications. Users choose whether to allow alerts on their device. Notifications need an internet connection, and support depends on the device and browser.
Can the app use my own branding?
Yes. Choose your app name and colors in WordPress. Your WordPress Site Icon becomes the app icon visitors see on their home screen.
